Books Bought – July 5, 2009
This week I found three novels at my local used book store:
“The Gunslinger” by Stephen King;
“The Golden Compass” by Philip Pullman;
“The Knight and Knave of Swords” by Fritz Leiber.
And what books did you buy this week?

I read The Golden Compass at my son’s urging last summer. It took me a little while to get into it, since fantasy is not my usual genre, but I did end up enjoying it. Hope you do too.

I had heard good things about “The Golden Compass”, so I thought it would be worth a go.

Michael where is the second hand book store in town? I somehow missed that when I was there last summer. Great books. Thanks again for the button.

Hi Cindy, the used book store is near Blockbuster; it is run by the SPCA and the proceeds help them run the animal shelter.

Hi Jess, I’ve heard positive things about it, so I’m hoping it will be a good read.
